Your role as a Sales Representative for Portable Farm™ Kits is as an Independent Contractor which means you are a self-employed business owner, and you’ll agree to work within the basic guidelines established by Portable Farms LLC, aNevada limited liability company qualified to conduct business in the State of California with its principal place of business located in Hidden Meadows - Escondido, California 92026.As a Sales Representative, you’ll develop and serve your own local clientele.
There are two sized Portable Farm™ Kits currently available for sale by Sales Representatives:
* A Small Portable Farm™ Kit sized for a 6 foot x 8 foot space (or slightly larger), retail price, US$1,999.00.
* A Medium Portable Farm™ Kit, sized for a 10 foot x 20 foot space (or slightly larger), retail price, US$2,999.00.
Requirements for a Sales Representative in the United States
* Learn how the Portable Farm™ operates by reading the Assembly, Operations and Maintenance Guide, attending Webinar’s on the Internet, and joining telephone conference calls with Portable Farms LLC.
* Develop your own customer base and be willing to talk to people in your area about the Portable Farm™. For example, you can talk to friends, neighbors, landscape companies and landscape architects, school administrators, churches, home builders, contractors, ‘green groups’, and networking groups.
* Serve your customers by helping answer their questions prior to the purchase of their Portable Farm™ Kit, answer questions before and after the sale, and during the installation of their Portable Farm™. If you sell a Portable Farm™ Kit to someone who is not in your area, you are still required to service your customer by offering them the help and support they need.
* You’re not required to help your customer assemble their Portable Farm™, but if they or their installer have questions about the assembly process, it’s your responsibility to answer their questions.
*For an additional source of income, you can help with the actual assembly and installation of the Portable Farm™ and even their greenhouse (if they decide to install one) if you have the talents and skills to do so, feel free to charge them for your time.
* If you have the space, and you can afford to purchase and install your own Portable Farm™, you’ll be able to invite people over and offer ‘tours’ of your own Portable Farm™ in your own backyard. Invite your friends, neighbors, school administrators and teachers, contractors, community activists, church leaders, ‘green’ groups, local landscapers, or builders. Once people see your Portable Farm™, they’ll WANT TO BUY ONE. It’s the easiest sale you’ll ever make.

* If you are interested in becoming a Sales Representative in the United States, fill out an application and send us your credit card information or a check or money order for US$134.00. This is a non-refundable processing fee
* A Sales Representative is an independent contractor and not an employee of Portable Farms LLC. A 1099misc Form will be issued to you at the end of the year based on your total commission checks for the year.
* After becoming a Sales Representative, you will be listed on our website, http://portablefarms.com , as a Sales Representative.
* The commission for selling your first ten small Portable Farm™ Kits is US$450 per sale. After the sale of the 10th small Portable Farm™ Kit, we will send you a Bonus Check of US$500.00, and then, your commission becomes US$500.00 for each subsequent sale.
* The commission for selling your first ten medium sized Portable Farm™ Kits is US$700.00. After the sale of the 10th medium sized Portable Farm™ Kit, we will send you a Bonus Check of US$800.00, and then, your commission becomes US$750.00 for each subsequent sale.
You will receive a prorated bonus check based on the mix on the size of the units for any combination in which you sell your first ten Portable Farm™ Kits. For example, if you sell 5 small kits and 5 medium kits, your bonus will be US$250.00 for the small kits, and US$350 for the large kits, for a total of US$600.00. Then your commission level is raised on both sized units.
* Ordering a Portable Farm™ Kit for a customer is simple. You simply send us an email with all your customer’s credit card and shipping information, plus, your Sales Representative number, so we can properly credit your account. After your customer’s order has cleared, we will issue a ship date to share with your customer.
* Sales Representatives are not allowed to clear customer funds. If a customer pays with a check, it is made out to Portable Farms LLC and sent to our offices. Once the funds are cleared, the customer’s Portable Farm™ Kit is shipped. Sales Representative's commission checks are paid twice a month.
* After becoming a Sales Representative, if you’d like to purchase your own Portable Farm™ Kit, you will pay full retail price and receive your commission check on the regularly scheduled check distribution day.
